With headlines proclaiming the latest advancements in AI such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Bard, Midjourney, and others, tools beyond chatbots and image generators are often pushed out of the spotlight. But more types of tools exist and can be a boon to learning and productivity. This Accelerator Studio workshop highlighted practical use cases and tools to enhance project management, text summarization, and accessibility, which can be extremely beneficial to your current (or next) learning experience or project.

The workshop explored different ways generative AI can look and function beyond just chatbots, with the following guiding questions:

  • Beyond chatbots, what types of AI tools might learners and professionals consider?
  • What do these tools like and feel like, particularly when used for learning outcomes?
  • What trends or additional tools should be top of mind?

Presenters: Joy Chen, GSE Entrepreneur-in-Residence; Auston Stamm, Digital Accessibility Instructional Specialist; Reuben Thiessen, Project Management Specialist, Stanford Accelerator for Learning
