Join the next session of our discussion series featuring the GSE’s Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) program, which hosts individuals from a wide range of industries with a common focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, and educational technology.
In this session, we’ll hear from leaders across the education spectrum discuss the opportunities and challenges they faced when enacting change. The discussion will be moderated by Christina Fajardo, Academic Technology Specialist at the GSE. We hope you’ll join us.
PANELISTS:
Joy Chen, 2023 EIR. Dr. Chen is a Chinese American entrepreneur and investor with a passion for education technology. As one of the pioneers in online and digital learning research, she has closely followed the edtech trend and explored how to enhance education by leveraging technologies. Christopher Thomas, 2020 EIR. Dr. Thomas is Director of Partnerships at the Yidan Prize Foundation and Social Entrepreneur in Residence at the GSE. He has held several senior managerial and advisory positions at the World Bank, working primarily on issues of human development, sustainability, and financing for development. Denise Pope, Senior Lecturer, GSE. Dr. Pope is the co-founder and strategic advisor at Challenge Success, a non-profit affiliated with the GSE that partners with schools to elevate student voice and implement research-based, equity-centered strategies that improve well-being, engagement, and belonging for all K-12 students.
