Learning is correlated with most every positive life outcome – from better health and higher incomes to deeper community engagement. Societies that invest in learning benefit from lower crime rates and more stable governments, and experience more prosperity. Yet high quality learning opportunities remain out of reach for many across the globe with devastating consequences for families, societies, and economies.
Learning must be central to any plan to improve people’s lives.
The Stanford Accelerator for Learning is helping usher in a new era of learning by harnessing the power of a research university, co-creating with those most engaged and aware in the field, and bringing knowledge, ideas, and solutions to the world.
