Kick off Summit week at Demo Day, where student and recent alumni innovators pitch their breakthrough edtech projects to a panel of judges featuring industry leaders, investors, researchers, and educators. Experience the next wave of ideas shaping learning as emerging founders showcase creative solutions designed for tomorrow’s classroom. Join us for an afternoon of rapid-fire pitches, feedback from experts, and a celebration of bold new talent in edtech.

Hosted by the Stanford Accelerator for Learning in collaboration with the Stanford Education Club, CoSN, and Edtech Insiders.

Yesenia Avila, Managing Director, Alliance at Lemnis

Yesenia Gallardo Avila is the Managing Director of the Alliance at Lemnis, a public charity focused on expanding learning for all. She is a mission-centered investor with a track-record of backing exceptional managers, founders, and leaders building solutions to improve the lives of learners.

Aditi Goel, Founder, P16 Partners

Aditi Goel brings over 20 years of nonprofit and education expertise to the work of solving critical problems around equity and opportunity. The unique multi-sector experience Aditi has from her leadership at Google where she designed and launched CodeNext, led the education portfolio at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, supported large-scale research at WestEd and began her career as a Teach for America teacher, enables her to now provide strategic advisory services through P16 Partners for clients across school systems and the nonprofit, education and philanthropic sectors. Aditi holds a B.A. in Philosophy with a Minor in South Asian Studies from UC Berkeley and an Ed.M. in Education Policy & Management from Harvard University.

Shelley Goldman, Professor Emerita, Stanford University

Shelley Goldman is Professor Emerita at the Stanford University Graduate School of Education. She is an educational anthropologist who studies learning in and out of school. Her work focuses on creating opportunities for rich learning experiences and for understanding how design thinking and technologies can create access to transformational learning environments. She helped to create three public schools, develop tech-integrated STEM curriculum, teach amazing Stanford students, and conduct design-based research in school-based partnerships.

Brian Greenberg, Founder, Advising Services

Brian Greenberg is an advisor and board member to companies working in the technology, education, and public impact sectors. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of the Silicon Schools Fund, where he raised over $110M from some of the top philanthropists and investors in the US. He supported the launch of over one hundred innovative schools and education organizations, directly serving over 35,000 students. Previously, Brian was a school founder, launching one of the top-ranked high schools in California and served as the Chief Academic Officer of a network of schools in the Bay Area. He worked as a teacher in Los Angeles Unified, in politics on statewide and national campaigns, and in higher education at Carnegie Mellon University. Brian is an instructor on the Coursera platform, a Stanford University Principal Fellow, and an Aspen Institute Pahara Fellow. Brian received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.Ed. from Harvard University.

Sunil Gunderia, CEO & Co-Founder, Literacy Mindset

Sunil Gunderia is the Co-Founder and CEO of a learning venture that translates learning science into programs that build real-world capability. This is his third startup; he previously co-invented a personalized learning system and launched the schools division at Age of Learning (makers of ABCmouse), and earlier started and scaled Disney’s mobile business across Europe and globally. He is a Venture Partner at Emerge Capital and serves on the boards of the Children’s Institute and InnovateEDU, as well as Vice Chair of the EdSAFE AI initiative.

Jennifer Lee, Partner, GSV

Jennifer Lee is a Partner at GSV Ventures. Prior to GSV, Jennifer was the Chief Growth Officer and a Board Member at Photomath (acquired by GOOG), which was the world’s most used math learning app with over 300M users. At Photomath, Jennifer was responsible for developing and managing the execution of Photomath’s growth strategy. Before Photomath, Jennifer spent over 14 years in the investing world, including time as a Principal at Learn Capital, where she worked on investments in Coursera, Photomath, GeniusPlaza, SoloLearn, and VIPKID. Jennifer has also been an independent consultant for ImpactAssets and a Vice President at Developing World Markets, a fund manager focused on inclusive financial institutions in emerging markets. Jennifer started her career at Lehman Brothers, as the strategist for the US Treasury, Treasury Futures, and Swaps markets. She has Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Management Science from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Jennifer is also a Kauffman Fellow.

Monique Malcom-Hay, Vice President, Rethink Education

Monique Malcolm-Hay is a Vice President at Rethink Education, where she invests in AI-native companies shaping the future of work, education, digital health, and financial inclusion around the globe. Monique began her career at PwC in the UK’s leading restructuring practice, where she implemented complex cashflow models and drove cost optimization initiatives to improve business efficiency. Monique later transitioned to PwC’s Future of Work consulting team, where she helped scale their offering across 190+ territories, advising global enterprises on technology adoption and workforce strategy. Her work earned recognition from McKinsey, which awarded her the 2021 McKinsey Achievement Award. She also gained startup experience at FutureFit AI, reporting directly to the COO on strategy and operations. Monique holds both an MBA and an MA in Education from Stanford University, where she served as Co-Chief Investment Officer of Stanford’s early-stage fund, leading investments in mission-driven startups.
