For all students, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, becoming an independent reader is predictive of positive post-secondary outcomes including independence, employment, and life satisfaction. We invite educators to join Associate Professor Christopher J. Lemons, a faculty affiliate of the Stanford Accelerator for Learning, and Lecturer Lakshmi Balasubramanian in a two-part live online series on literacy strategies for learners with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
