You’re developing promising research-based innovations, but what does it look like to transition initial prototypes and pilots into lasting, sustainable impact?
Join the Accelerator Studio for a conversation with scholar-practitioners who have navigated the unique challenges of scaling from academia — from navigating funding to building partnerships outside university walls to growing research-backed innovations in messy real-world contexts. They’ll share candid insights about resources, institutional barriers, research-practice tensions, and sustainability strategies. After hearing from our panelists, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with others facing similar scaling challenges through structured small-group discussions.
The workshop will explore these central questions:
- Why scale? When is scaling the right choice for research-based work?
- How do you navigate the transition from small-scale research to sustained, scaled impact?
- What are the unique tensions and practical realities of scaling from an academic setting?
