The Stanford EduNLP Lab, led by Accelerator Faculty Affiliate Dora Demszky, hosted a two-day summit bringing together math teachers, leaders, and coaches with diverse perspectives on AI in education — from skeptics to optimists — to reimagine how language technologies like Natural Language Processing can serve mathematics education.
At the summit, the EduNLP Lab facilitated workshops and shared demos and resources related to language technology tools in classrooms. Participants included teachers, coaches, and school leaders as well as a small group of researchers. Those who attended became part of a vibrant community of fellows that will continue throughout the year.
