This event has passed.

As the founder of Nairobi College and a decades-long leader in education, youth services, and community health, Uncle Bob Hoover has dedicated his life to building institutions and movements rooted in dignity, justice, and opportunity—especially for the East Palo Alto community.

This event is more than a conversation. In a time of political and educational uncertainty, it is a call for hope—a reminder that the future of organizing and education can still be shaped by vision, care, and collective action.

Join us as we honor a legacy and look toward the future—with clarity, courage, and community.

The discussion will be co-moderated by Lena Hoover (’27), Ryan Butler (‘25), and Taylor Hall (’25). A fried fish dinner will be provided for attendees.
