Join the Accelerator Studio on May 20 for a virtual workshop about engaging in research with community partners. This session will offer practices and insights to help faculty, research staff, and graduate students who want to take a step towards collaborative research with practitioners and community partners.

This workshop will explore key concepts in brokering and calibrating research partnerships alongside Laura Wentworth, Director of the Research Practice Partnership Program at California Education Partners, and Diana Mercado-Garcia, Director of the Stanford-Sequoia K-12 Research Collaborative.

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Explore the purpose and benefit of co-developing research questions with communities and schools
  • Identify the processes involved in listening to and collaborating with practitioners and community members
  • Apply methods of co-developing research questions aimed at making your research more impactful

This workshop serves Stanford Accelerator for Learning seed grantees, but it is open to the whole Stanford community. Participants will receive the Zoom link after registering. We hope to see you there!
